After the barage of rain we have had over the last few days it was nice to finally see the sun out there today. We had 17 golfers show up today for the festivities. The format was the usual Skins, Stableford, Beat the Pro and a team game of best 2 net balls of the four player team.
In the Team game it was a runaway train with the team of Steve Points, Gary Gough, Tim Buckley and Steve Schwerin capturing the top spot with a most impressive 24 under par 130 score. Nice work fellas!
Those same team members dominated the stableford game also with Steve Points owning the top spot there with a stellar +8 on his stableford points followed closely behind by Gary Gough who was +7 on his quota. No wonder they dominated the team game. Check out the results sheet for the complete info on all other stableford world beaters!
The skins game was very well distributed with only one player getting multiple skins and the rest getting one. Steve Ahlfeld was the lone double dipper with a skin on #3 & #5.
The pro showed up today and played a little better so no one beat the pro. Mr. Coffman may have added some added motivation with his loose talk in the proshop prior to play about how he was guaranteed a deposit of $10 in his proshop credit account if I was the pro to beat. Maybe next time Ron.
Thanks to everyone for participating this week. Next week we will have no Men's day as we will be hosting the Men's Invitational.
Best,
Dave
